AA Meetings are held Sunday through Saturday at 7:30 a.m. in the triple room and on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Center Craft Room. New members are welcome to attend, regardless of Center membership.

The Center van is available Tuesday through Thursday for Westerly seniors for shopping, hairdresser and barber appointments and nursing home visits and transportation to Center activities. Newport by land and by sea

Departs: 10 a.m. Return: 5:30 p.m. When we arrive at Newport, we will be greeted by a step-on guide for a driving tour of the special highlights including Bellevue Avenue and Ten Mile Ocean Drive followed by time on your own at Bannister’s and Bowen’s Wharf for lunch and shopping. Red Sox vs Angels

It’s a short drive to the M/V Thomas Leighton for a 3-hour narrated boat tour of the 9 islands of the Isle of Shoals. Downton Abbey Exhibition
Cost: $80. Deposit: $35. Balance due: August 15. Departs: 8:30 a.m. from the senior center. Return: 6:00 p.m. If you are a Downton Abbey fan, don’t miss this trip. The first stop will be at the Prudential Center in downtown Boston where you can get something to eat and maybe shop a bit or look around. Then it’s off to the Castle at Park Plaza for the Downton Abbey Exhibition, which is based on the beloved television show.
You will be transported to post-Edwardian England where you’ll be immersed for 90 minutes in the social history, culture, and some of the memorable moments from the show’s six seasons. There will be recreations of sets and costumes from the show and the upcoming movie. (South Kingstown Parks & Rec)

Cranberry Bog Tour
